Dr. Badger is an active member of a variety of community organizations. He is a charter member of the Manheim Touchdown Club. He served on the Manheim Central School Board for nine years and is an active supporter of Boy Scouts. He has participated in scout trips to Philmont, Canada, the Great Smoky Mountains, the White Mountains and Camp Mack. Annually, he trains other adult leaders in wilderness first aid and CPR.

A member of The Worship Center, Dr. Badger has participated in threemission trips to Honduras and is an assistant Small Group Leader. His hobbies include home renovation projects, landscaping and scubadiving.

Dr. Badger and his wife Virginia recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. They are the proud parents of three children.
